It can be difficult to find something interesting about which to write above the minutia of my very pleasant country life, when there is nothing new from the sewing room, or exciting developments in the garden, or activities of note. I have decided to follow the lead of others who post on a regular basis on a particular topic, be it work achieved in the past week, or the state of their studio desk, or photos without words. I take photographs all the time, of things that interest me, are unusual, items that could be a source of inspiration for textile work, or just for fun, and these languish in no particular system, on my computer. So – I plan to post photos on Fridays – perhaps with a little information, perhaps not – I hope you enjoy them…….
Seagull sitting on the anchor, at the bow of the Merinda River Cruiser in Bateman’s Bay.
Shadow of seagull through a canvas sunshade on the same boat.
Rain drops on roses…………..this one is called Gold Bunny
Polyanthus – can you believe those colours?
