That is a fairly disparate group of people…now add me……so what do you think we might all have in common?

We share a birthday – today – September 19th!  Different years (obviously) but that makes us all Virgos.  Do you believe all that astrological star sign stuff?  I’m always very cynical, even though I do have some of the character traits commonly assigned to Virgos.  I’m NOT going to outline them here, those that know me would know!

So Happy Birthday to me and everyone else out there who shares this significant date.  Today will be spent at the Embroiderer’s Guild where we are having a “Paddy’s Market” which is a chance for me to try and get rid of some of my surplus stitching magazines and other no longer used sewing stuff, so I hope folk will buy it and I get some $$ to add to my piggy bank – which is actually a chook bank. I always think birthdays are special, even if it is just another and not one marking another decade passed by.  I won’t be seeing family today but will catch up with them soon, so tonight I’m going to the local pub for dinner with a few friends, and I am sure it will be a great day regardless of what else could happen along the way.

And just because a post without a photo is lacking something….this is one of dew drops on moss and reminds me of birthday balloons.

I’m also told today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, so look out for strangely dressed people saying Ahoy there! Avast! or Aye Aye……………then you will know why they are.
