Oooooooh. Snails! We used to have clam bakes when I was growing up in NY. My family would get wooden barrels of clams and the slugs would crawl out of them and we’d put salt on them and watch them dry up. Looking back, I suppose that wasn’t very nice, but I still can’t get over the fact that people eat those things.
